Day 1,Alice Springs - Uluru, Australia

Alice Springs Accommodation Pick-Up to Uluru (L/D) You will be picked up at 6:00am from your Alice Springs accommodation to hit the road for an adventure of a lifetime! Begin your journey heading south through the Waterhouse and James Ranges stopping at a Camel Farm for some optional camel rides. View Aboriginal artefacts at Mount Ebenezer Roadhouse before visiting Atila (Mount Connor) - an astonishing rock formation. After lunch you will be arriving to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for a real cultural experience. We will begin with a visit to the Cultural Centre to learn about the local Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa). We then head to the base of Uluru where we meet our local Aboriginal Guide who will provide a once-in-a-lifetime authentic Indigenous cultural experience with an interpretive walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. You will hear the stories of the unique landscapes, art and culture of the local custodians, the Anangu people before a hands-on dot painting session where you will take your artwork as a memento of your experience. Later on you will witness the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset as you contemplate the vastness of the desert before settling into our remote private camp. Day 2,Uluru - Kings Creek Station, Australia

Uluru - Kings Creek Station (B/L/D) Rise early to watch the sunrise over our campsite while enjoying breakfast and then we are off to Kata Tjuta for a 7km hike through the magnificent "Valley of the Winds". Take a break from your hike and enjoy lunch before a scenic drive to Kings Creek Station. Our private campsite at Kings Creek is miles from the crowds, which is where the feeling of being in the outback really starts to take hold. After a campfire dinner it's time to kick back and be mesmerised by the millions of stars on display. Day 3,Kings Creek Station - Glen Helen, Australia

Kings Creek Station - Glen Helen (B/L/D) Have breakfast and then enjoy a guided walk to see the towering walls, crevices and plateaus of Watarrka (Kings Canyon). You will be visiting several famous sites like the Amphitheatre, Lost City and even the tranquil Garden of Eden. After Watarrka buckle up as we will ride our 4WD along the famous Mereenie Loop Road. Look out for wildlife as we make our way to our permanent camp at Glen Helen. Nearby, you will discover the stunning waterhole, legend has it that the traditional owners of this land believe the waterhole is home to an ancient and powerful Rainbow Serpent. Get some rest as you will spend the night in Glen Helen.Enjoy a guided walk to see Watarrka (Kings Canyon). Transfer in the afternoon to yiur permanent camp at Glen Helen

Day 4,Glen Helen - Owen Springs, Australia

Glen Helen - Owen Springs (B/L/D) Today you will explore the mighty West MacDonnell Ranges. As we travel to Ormiston Gorge, keep your eyes peeled for Perentie Lizards lazing along the banks. Take a refreshing swim in the rock holes before our 1.5 hour hike of the Ghost Gum Walk- an opportunity to view the majestic Ormiston Gorge, rocky floors and Ormiston Waterhole. The journey continues on to the Ochre Pits, which is a registered sacred site offering a unique experience to view the Ochre deposit still used to this day by the traditional owners. These natural ochres have provided materials to Indigenous people for thousands of years. Afterwards, we will travel on to Ellery Creek Big Hole, one of the most picturesque swimming and walking spots in the West MacDonnell Ranges. Surrounded by high red cliffs and the sandy Ellery Creek, the waterhole has been carved out by thousands of years of massive floods and is an internationally significant geological site. Having permanent water here has made it a special meeting place for the Arrernte people and is known to them as Udepata. Later on in the afternoon we will 4WD into our remote campsite located at Hugh River. Tonight it is just us in the wild and this provides a great opportunity for star gazing without the interference of artificial light. Spend the night around the campfire, in this scenically stunning part of the outback.Today you will explore the mighty West MacDonnell Ranges. Day 5,Owen Springs - Alice Sprigs, Australia

Owen Springs & Alice Springs Accommodation Drop Off (B/L) Have your breakfast and relax before driving to the Owen Springs Reserve. We will be following the footsteps of the first European explorers. This 1570 square kilometre reserve was formally owned by Sir Sidney Kidman and is rich in Australian Pastoral history. This route boasts amazing scenery as it follows the Hugh River, lined with shady River Red Gums. Stop and check out the homestead ruins, the site of the first homestead build in Central Australia. This area boasts an array of bird life so keep a lookout for Red Tailed Black Cockatoos and Major Mitchells. At the end of the track we will cross the Stuart Highway and continue our drive until we reach Rainbow Valley. Rainbow Valley has several important archaeological sites and artefacts that are evidence of ancient Aboriginal connections to this area. Spend some time exploring the area which boasts scenic sandstone bluffs that change colour along with the changing light of day. Walk around and take advantage of the several viewing platforms which provide magnificent views of the area. Afterwards, we make the journey back to Alice Springs where you will be dropped off at your chosen accommodation at approximately 5.30pm. Upon arrival your experience has come to an end, we wish you safe travels for the rest of your journey. Follow the footsteps of the first European explorers through the Owen Springs Reserve. Continue your drive until you reach Rainbow Valley. Later, you will make the journey back to Alice Springs
